What's more, it is natural to neglect the study of Chinese due to the wrong impression that as native speakers, we all have a good command of Chinese. This phenomenon will do harm to the development of our culture in the long run.
Measures should be taken to improve the situation. To begin with, government should pay more attention to the promotion of Chinese culture so that people, young and old, can learn more and be proud of our own language.
